Welcome! I am Tracy Carrothers. So glad you are here.

Are you craving something more?

Do you work hard to make sure everyone around you is excelling, but somewhere along the way you forgot about yourself?

Maybe you are a woman who moves for her spouse’s job.

You are resilient. Adventurous. And along the way you lost your identity.

Maybe it is hard to identify WHAT it is you even want.

I am here for all of that.

I am passionate about helping women access their inner voice to create the life they are called to lead.

When everything thing feels a little wonky and you are ready to turn your eyes and actions to your soul’s desires, that’s when we partner up. Some of the work we will do together:

Clarify values     What matters most to you and are your actions aligned with those values?

Create a vision.   Have you created the time and space to ask yourself what you really want? What do you really want your life to look like?

Layout action steps     Step into action! We will create small steps that bring you closer to your vision.

Quiet that inner critic     Learn to work with that self-doubt and fear.

Embrace your inner wisdom You will learn to check in with your inner mentor for guidance rather than seeking external permission and approval.

Become a woman who takes exceptional care of herself How you love, care for, and talk to your body are foundational elements for living your best life. I will encourage you to pursue pleasure for the sake of pleasure, clear your environment of whatever doesn’t serve you, nourish your soul, and more.

Are you ready to dig into that you nudge you keep getting to try something new.

If you’re looking to find your voice and embrace the life that belongs to you, you’re in the right place.

I’ve scaled my share of challenges.

I’m the founder of Tracy Carrothers, a business that provides coaching to women ready to let their desires emerge so that they live from a place of freedom.

Living in freedom means untangling from the “shoulds” and “musts” so that we can live from our souls — from a place of leadership.

I’m also a mom, a former public interest attorney, breast cancer survivor, and a flipper of tables currently living in Taiwan. Flipper of tables? Metaphorically speaking, of course.  What that means is that I am willing to push against norms that have held us back. I am willing to speak up, call out what no longer works, and support clients when they want to do the same.

A few years ago, I realized I had lost myself in the fold of putting everyone’s needs before my own.  In 2007 I made the decision to leave my profession as an attorney and follow my husband’s career abroad.   While it opened up my life to a whole new adventure, I lost myself along the way.

I found I was just one of many women in my community who felt less than in their always shifting identity as a “trailing spouse.”  These women were resilient, bold, and brave, but often had put aside their one deep and sacred callings for what they felt was the good of the family.

I made a decision to reclaim my power to choose, to plan, to live from my desire instead of as a spouse trailing behind someone else’s career.

This decision did not involve me moving back to our home country.  It actually involved a major mindshift in how I viewed my life, the power of my desires, my worth, and my purpose.

The details of my story are unique, but I know that there are many women who have felt their leadership + their power to create slip away.  Many of us relinquish the driver’s seat unnecessarily.

We can get that back! Together.

It is the norm to slip into a role of juggling everyone else’s needs while forgetting our own.  This happens not because somebody forces us, but rather because it is the status quo.

We have not been shown the option that we can embrace what we CRAVE and CREATE it.  Many of us categorize our needs and desires as selfish.   But we don’t have to believe that!

We can shift to knowing that when we show up fully as our REAL selves we create whole, loving, authentic relationships, change our community, and therefore our world.

Living a life that constantly places your needs and desires at the bottom of the to do list is not good for anyone! So, let’s turn that around.

My mission is to encourage women to feel strong and confident in their pursuit of greatness.
My mission is to work with women as they realize the radiance in their body, mind, spirit RIGHT NOW.
My mission is to help women like you to empower themselves and  to stop asking for permission to be brilliant.

We are going to stop toning it down, delaying, and deliberating.  The time is now to look at what isn’t working and change it.

My coaching isn’t about telling you what you want to hear. I’m compassionate and I’m also straightforward. Taking action to pursue work that fills you up means talking about what’s hard. It means sitting with discomfort.

Let’s talk about the things that get pushed under the rug.
Let’s talk about value, worthiness, and power.
Let’s develop an action plan for your life so that you feel fulfilled and free.

And honestly, I’m not for everyone. My ideal coaching clients:

  • Are prepared to do the hard work that comes with pursuing change and becoming better.
  • Are willing to take risks in pursuit of their goals.
  • Are open to answering the hard questions.
  • Are not looking to do the same things they’ve always done.
  • Are ready to work with a coach who values their trust and honors their experiences.

What clients say…
“I had reached the point where I was numb to my ‘You can do this.  Be strong. Handle it’ pep talk.  I had built a shell around me.  It made me look like I was so tough and together. I had moved 9 times in 10 years for my husband’s job.  I had relocated my life, my kids, and re-started my freelancing business over and over again.  When my husband took a new job and I was facing moving…again that shell was starting to crack and so was I.  So I did something I had never done before.  I asked for help.”
“I should mention I had never heard of a real-life life coach.  I thought a life coaches were people who  appeared on the Oprah show and were only available to celebrities. But Tracy Carrothers could not be more real.”
“During our time together, she held a sacred space where I could unfurl a lot of old, repetitive crap that has been weighing me down for years. I found Tracy’s coaching style to be a mix of sharp-shooting intellect with deep intuition and insight. After our sessions together I’ve been able to shine the light on some habits that are no longer helpful to me and create and curate a life I actually want.”
